Daniel Mallard is a senior forward from Greensboro, N.C. Daniel has served as a three-year starter and part of the leadership team. Coming into his senior season, Daniel is the CIU career leader in goals with 32. During his sophomore season, Daniel led the team with 20 goals and five assists, finishing second nationally in goals. “Mallard” as he is known by his teammates, also holds the distinction of being the first player to sign with the Rams prior to the inaugural season. He also scored the first goal in program history on a diving header as the Rams won their inaugural match 1-0 against Toccoa Falls College.
Angela McMaster enters her sophomore year for the Rams women's soccer team, majoring in humanities. The Parker, Colorado, native aspires to be a social worker or physical trainer after graduation.
Ethan Chandler is a senior midfielder from Lexington, SC. Ethan signed with CIU as part of the inaugural team back in 2012 and has been a three-year starter for the Rams. He also served as a team captain and member of the leadership team. He won the team’s Servant Leadership Award as a junior and the Core Value Award as a sophomore.
A native of Lexington, South Carolina, Kayla Swails began her studies at CIU in 2012 in the teacher education program. She was a standout for White Knoll High School where was captain for two years, leading the team into regional play twice.
Emory is in his first semester at Columbia International after transferring from Hagerstown Community College. He has already made a mark in just a few weeks. In the season-opening 5K on campus, he made up serious ground in the last half-mile, improving his position from outside the top ten all
the way to sixth place.
